Shelley Stromple, Principal & V.P. Business Development
As the President of TurnKey Benefits, Inc., Shelley is a trusted Benefits Consultant to many companies.
She is a graduate of Duquesne University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. As a former teacher and business owner she has a
unique understanding of how important a sound strategy can be when it comes to employee benefits. Shelley started TurnKey Benefits
in 1998. She has grown her business by focusing on nurturing the relationships that she has with her clients and focusing on their
individuals needs and concerns. She continues to stay on the forefront of the employee benefits industry by staying up to date with
new developments in the marketplace.
Mark McLean, Principal & V.P. Business Development
Mark is Vice President of Business Development for the Key Family of Companies. Mark joined the company in 1992 coming from Johnson & Higgins,
an international brokerage firm, where he was a senior group benefits consultant. He has a very broad perspective on group benefit issues and
is extremely capable in identifying sound and innovative solutions to client needs and concerns. Previous to J&H, Mark was in group benefits
sales with Jefferson-Pilot Life Insurance Company. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he majored in Insurance and
Economic Security. He is certified as a Chartered Life Underwriter. Mark joined the Key Family in August 1992.
Carla Hartsoe, V.P. Business Development
Carla Hartsoe is Vice President of Client Relations for TurnKey Benefits. She works closely with the Account Management Team to maintain the service and relationship with current clients. Carla came to TurnKey Benefits from our sister company, Key Benefit Administrators, where she has worked in the client relations arena since July 1998. She has a very broad perspective on group benefit issues and is very capable of identifying solutions to clients needs and concerns. Prior to her arrival at KBA, she worked for a local Third Party Administrator based in South Carolina. There, she worked as a provider network contractor for the TPA owned and operated PPO and HMO networks. Carla began her career in the insurance/health care industry by receiving her Bachelors of Science degree in Health Administration from Winthrop University. Carla and her husband, Dwayne, have a son and a daughter and live in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Gail Hunter-Hill, V.P. Agency Operations
Gail joined TurnKey in July of 2008 after working for Hewitt Associates, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and CIGNA Healthcare for over 25 years. Gail’s insurance, management and operations experience brings the ability for TKB to continually improve our business model to better serve our clients. Gail attended Seminole Community College and the University of Florida before relocating to the Charlotte area.
Claudette Jacobs, Benefit Consultant
Claudette joined TurnKey in September 2010 from Wells Fargo Insurance Services of North Carolina where she was a Group Benefits Account Manager. Claudette has over 15 years of Group Insurance experience including 6 years of underwriting group life and disability benefit plans as well as group medical and dental plans. Claudette is responsible for servicing, administration, and providing solutions to our clients needs. She interfaces with clients, carriers, and Account Executives throughout the RFP and renewal processes. Claudette is a graduate of University of Hartford, West Hartford, CT where she received a Bachelor degree in Economics. Claudette holds North Carolina resident agent licenses in Medicare Supplemental/Long Term Care, Life and Health, as well as Property and Casualty.
Kizmet Moore, MBA, Benefit Consultant
Kizmet joined TurnKey Benefits in August 2011 from Mercer where she was a Benefit Analyst and most recently a System Trainer. Prior to Mercer, Kizmet worked for CIGNA Healthcare of North Carolina and South Carolina in various roles for over 10 years. She has over 13 years of Group Insurance experience with multiple lines of business. Her daily responsibilities at Turnkey include: servicing client benefit programs, providing detailed research and resolution to client questions and claim inquiries, employee education, and proactive communication with clients and carriers to identify potential challenges and develop preventive long-term solutions. Kizmet is a graduate of Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC where she received a Bachelor degree in Speech and Webster University where she received a Masters degree in Business. Kizmet holds a South Carolina resident agent license in Life and Health. She is also a Certified Public Speaker on Women's Issues and Diversity.
Michael Colacchio, CEBS, Benefit Consultant
Mike joined Turnkey Benefits in September 2011 after spending 11 years with Mercer as a Benefit Analyst. Mike has over 17 years of Group Insurance experience. His responsibilities include servicing, administration and providing solutions to our client's benefit needs. Our clients also benefit from the solid relationships Mike has developed with many of the carriers in the area. Prior to Mercer, Mike spent five years with Key Benefit Administrators. Mike graduated from Worcester State College with a degree in Business Administration and has also earned the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation.
Latrise Lofton, Account Specialist
Latrise joined the Turnkey family in April of 2010. Latrise comes to us with more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. During her endeavors in the insurance arena, she worked for UHC as a New Business Coordinator and Medco Health Solutions as a Customer Care Specialist. Latrise is our clients’ first point of contact for all escalated service issues with claims, billing and eligibility. Latrise graduated from the University of Phoenix with a BS in Business.
